When I moved to Exeter from London in 2013 I was keen to meet and perform with talented musicians based in the south west, as I’ve always had a great interest in performing music of the highest quality away from the big cities where so much culture is already based. I’ve been lucky to work with some fascinating musicians in the last few years, and in 2016 I co-founded Trio Exe - a group who have performed some favourites of the piano trio repertoire alongside some undiscovered classics for large audiences across Devon. We recently became an ensemble of flexible instrumentation, featuring both violin/cello/piano and clarinet/cello/piano combinations and we are excited about exploring the new repertoire now open to us as an ensemble.
